As the Senior Brand Designer at Centience, you will be the visual guardian of our Algorithms meet creativity ideology. Your primary mission is to translate complex data-driven strategies and abstract business ideologies into world-class visual narratives that tell a thousand words without saying one.
Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Branding and Marketing, you will bridge the gap between creative instinct and measurable success. You are not just a designer; you are a strategic leader who will mentor and stand firm as a brand ambassador when communicating with high-level stakeholders across the group.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Brand Architecture & Ideology
- Ideology Translation: Breathe life into the Centience brand and our subsidiary entities by conveying strategic business messages through imagery that cuts through market noise.
- Visual Systems Development: Lead end-to-end brand identity development, from conceptual exploration of logos and colour theory to the implementation of robust typography and grid systems.
- Asset Scalability: Design brand templates (advertisements, pitch decks, website elements) that are commercially viable and technically sound across all digital and print platforms.
2. Stakeholder Management & Brand Advocacy
- Strategic Influence: Present design rationales and brand systems confidently to internal and external stakeholders.
- Brand Guardianship: Stand firm in the correct branding application; act as a design ambassador to help non-designers understand the value of brand consistency over gut-feel changes.
- Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate with product, project, BD and Data Science teams to ensure every design decision reinforces our predictive analytics positioning.
3. Leadership & Team Performance
- Creative Mentorship: Guide and upskill graphic designers through rigorous design reviews, creative thinking exercises, and technical preparation.
- Production Oversight: Brief and oversee the production of all creative materials, maintaining obsessive attention to detail and adherence to global brand guidelines.
- Operational Excellence: Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines while ensuring the creative quality remains at a Senior level.
