About the Role
DJ Engineering and Construction is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Senior BIM Modeller
to support ongoing infrastructure and building projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing accurate BIM models and technical drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- 3D BIM Modelling:
Develop, update, and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines using Autodesk Revit. - Technical Drafting & Documentation:
Prepare high-quality 2D shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built documentation using AutoCAD and Revit. - Coordination & Clash Detection:
Conduct model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks, ensuring timely identification and resolution of design conflicts. - Standards & Compliance:
Ensure all models and drawings comply with company standards, project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and Singapore BCA submission requirements. - Data & Model Management:
Manage and coordinate model exchanges through Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as Autodesk BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud. - Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure model accuracy and project efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a BIM Modeller or Drafter within the construction or engineering industry. - Technical Expertise:
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (mandatory) and AutoCAD. - Software Knowledge:
Hands-on experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination. - Educational Background:
Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services. - Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with Singapore building regulations, including BCA, HDB, or LTA standards, is highly advantageous. - Soft Skills:
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
