Model Creation and Development:
- Developing and maintaining 3D models using BIM software like Bentley, Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD.
- Creating and updating architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) models.
- Ensuring models are accurate, detailed, and compliant with project requirements.
Coordination and Collaboration:
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate their designs into the BIM model.
- Identifying and resolving clashes and inconsistencies within the model.
- Participating in BIM coordination meetings and discussions.
Model Management and Maintenance:
- Maintaining the BIM model throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to construction and handover.
- Updating the model based on design changes and field conditions.
- Extracting data from the model for use in shop drawings, quantity takeoff, and other purposes.
Drawing Production:
- Preparing architectural and structural shop drawings and working drawings from the BIM model.
- Ensuring drawings are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
Other Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with BIM standards and project requirements.
- Attending project meetings and communicating project information.
