Senior BIM Designer (Process)

• Assists the engineering team to produce drawings for process systems such as bulk gas, speciality gas, chemical, ultrapure water, and wastewater systems.
• Prepares Piping layout, Equipment layout, Plant layout drawings
• Prepares Process and instrumentation diagrams, Process flow diagrams, and schematics drawings
• Prepares the piping section and isometric and detail drawings
• Prepares tender, shop construction, as-built drawing organisation
• Coordination of drawings and space management with other discipline and sub-contractors
• To coordinate with project team and enforce CAD/BIM standard on project basis
• Maintains CAD / BIM library in current system / from past projects
• Understanding of system design matrix and creating a coordinated BIM model as required by the project
• Possess a good level of understanding of trade-specific knowledge in relation to code requirements and design principles in regard to process design.
• Maintains all the drawings and drawing lists to be updated according to design changes. Additional responsibilities Interfaces

Requirements

• Diploma/Institute of Technical Education in a related engineering field
• Minimum years of experience: 8 - 10 years relevant experience
• Proficient in CAD/BIM design and coordination in construction industry
• Working knowledge in both 2D and 3D environments
• Working proficiency in English
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint)
• Knowledge in AutoCAD Plant 3D and PID or equivalence
• Delivering projects on time and in accordance with the specification
