Role:
- Proven experience working as a QA Test Manager in Agile/Scrum teams (DevOps setup is a strong plus)
- Experience in leading/supporting all testing initiatives of an agile team from Dev to acceptance testing
- Drive all quality aspects across the software development lifecycle, from story refinement and design to testing, release, and post-release validation
- Test planning and strategy: Develop test plans, strategies, and cases based on business and non-functional requirements.
- Good Jira knowledge. Basic XRAY knowledge is a plus.
- Automate identified test cases using Selenium with Java with TestNG framework
- Validate system integrations using REST API testing, with a clear understanding of request/response flows, error handling, and data consistency
- Analyse test results, identify root causes of issues, and generate detailed reports for stakeholders
- Troubleshoot bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams to implement fixes
- Configure the test environment, manage test data, and use testing tools and software
- Perform end-to-end testing across multiple systems, understanding dependencies between internal applications and external providers
- Own Defect Management and follow up until resolution
- Support the team in bug/defect triage, ensuring timely closure and regression coverage
- Drive non-functional testing strategies where applicable, including participation in performance evaluation and scalability checks.
- Domain knowledge in banking or financial services is a strong advantage
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science or similar related relevant education background.
- 5+ Years of relevant professional experience as a Automation Test Lead or Manager.
- Good knowledge of JIRA Xray knowledge is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with REST API testing.
- Perform manual testing as needed, including periods where manual testing may be the primary responsibility.
- Good to have solid understanding on Ebanking/payments/trading experience
- Good understanding of CI CD pipelines and tools like Gitlab, Jenkins etc
- Development experience with hands on exp on Spring boot or similar is preferred.
- Very good understanding of best practices, clean code policies, branching strategies and security scans.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus Systematic and meticulous
- Ability to work both independently as well as in team
