Participate in the development of audit plans, including risk assessment, scope determination, and identifying key audit areas, in accordance with Singapore Standards of Auditing (SSA).
Perform detailed testing of financial records, transactions, and internal controls to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Analyse financial statements, disclosures, and supporting documentation to identify potential errors, misstatements, or irregulates.
Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls by assessing their design and implementation, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
Prepare comprehensive audit documentation that supports findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Ensure all working papers are accurate and well-organised.
Communicate and document audit findings, recommendations, and insights in accordance with SSA to clients, audit managers and partners in a clear and professional manner. Address client questions and concerns related to audit processes.
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance, reviewing their work, and promoting their professional development.
Stay up to date with relevant accounting standards, auditing regulations, and industry developments to ensure compliance and provide value-added insights to clients.
Manage multiple audit engagement simultaneously, adhering to deadlines, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring quality work delivery.
Identify opportunities to enhance audit methodologies, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Degree in accounting / finance or equivalent professional qualifications
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience candidates
Strong understanding with of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
Proactive, committed, and able to work under pressure.
Possess strong initiative to complete each assigned engagements / task.
Possess the ability to work cohesively and harmoniously as a team player.
