Senior/Audiologist

Brief Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to provide comprehensive audiology services, primarily focusing on the elderly population. This is an opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team in a community health environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audiological assessments and diagnostic tests while developing appropriate treatment plans, including hearing aid fitting. Provide counselling to patients and families regarding hearing and communication management. Deliver preventive services and community consultations, referring patients to additional medical services when necessary. Supervise and mentor newly joined Audiologists and Audiology Technicians. Ensure efficient clinic operations, including the maintenance and calibration of audiology equipment and management of hearing aid inventory. Document departmental statistics and generate monthly workload reports. Support the establishment of new audiology booths and maintain work instructions and policy documentation. Assist with ad hoc hearing screening activities and perform any other relevant duties as assigned. Participate in health promotion activities and quality improvement initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Audiology or a Master of Science (Audiology). Minimum of 2 years of clinical audiology experience is preferred. Eligibility for membership with recognised Audiological Societies is required. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to build effective working relationships. Proficiency in MS Office and a commitment to continuous professional development.
