You will be a valued member in our award-winning Product team, responsible for creating products for consumers across over 60 countries. In this unique position, you will assist with the development of projects for fans of the brand which complement our award-winning chairs. You should be an innovator with a proven track record of bringing products to market from the conceptualisation stages.
Our Product team is involved with all Secretlab's industry-leading designs, including collaborative efforts with world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing new and/or existing projects and implementing key design documentations
- Provide critical support for existing projects. This includes (but not limited to) planning, documentation, coordination, and liaising with stakeholders for matters such as manufacturing, logistics, purchasing etc.
- Manage development schedules from prototyping, testing, reiterations, pre-production, etc. using project management tools such as ClickUp and Gantt Charts.
- Work closely with Industrial Designers, Mechanical Engineers, Sourcing, Quality and Reliability Engineers to troubleshoot existing product issues as well as implement solutions.
- Perform Value Engineering for existing products to optimize cost and values.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to implement product improvements and cost down in the market as well as designing & optimizing customer experiences.
- Demonstrate an exceptional level of creative and technical ability during the improvement of existing lines.
- Be an independent thinker who is able to devise innovative solutions to overcome design/ cost limitations. Be a key liaison across the organization for the go-to-market strategy of owned projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant field
- Meticulous with high attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with good skill in organizing task based on priority
- Keen interest in Product Development and/or Project Management
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (for liaising with Mandarin speaking suppliers)
- Availability to travel for business
