About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Associate - Investor & Client Relations to join our Singapore-based licensed fund management platform.

The role will have a broad mandate covering investor relations, fundraising support, client servicing, portfolio operations and stakeholder management across the firm's investment activities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a Singapore-based licensed fund management company, family office, asset manager or alternative investment platform, with a strong understanding of VCC structures and sub-funds, investment products and fund operations.

This is a hands-on role suited to an individual who is comfortable working across investor engagement, fund administration, portfolio reporting and fundraising activities, and who can independently manage multiple workstreams in a fast-growing investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations & Client Servicing

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with existing and prospective investors, including family offices, HNWIs, institutional investors, wealth managers and strategic partners.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for investor queries and requests.

  • Coordinate investor onboarding, KYC/AML documentation, subscriptions, capital calls, distributions and other investor-related processes.

  • Prepare and coordinate periodic investor communications, portfolio updates and fund performance reports.

  • Maintain accurate investor records, CRM and fundraising pipeline information.

  • Coordinate investor meetings, calls and follow-ups with senior management.

Fundraising Support

  • Support the Managing Partner / senior management in ongoing fundraising initiatives.

  • Research, identify and develop relationships with prospective investors across Singapore and international markets.

  • Prepare investor presentations, teasers, information memoranda, portfolio updates and other fundraising materials.

  • Coordinate investor due diligence, data-room requirements and follow-up requests.

  • Track fundraising pipelines, investor engagement and conversion through to subscription/commitment.

  • Support co-investment opportunities and bespoke investment solutions for qualified investors.

Fund & Portfolio Operations

  • Support the management and monitoring of multiple investment portfolios and funds.

  • Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, banks, legal advisers, tax advisers and other external service providers.

  • Monitor portfolio reporting, cash flows, repayments, distributions, maturities and other investment-related activities.

  • Assist with preparation and review of NAV, financial, portfolio and investor reports.

  • Maintain investment and portfolio records and ensure timely flow of information across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support monitoring of portfolio covenants, documentation and key investment events.

VCC & Fund Structures

  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the Singapore Variable Capital Company (VCC) framework, including sub-funds and related fund administration processes.

  • Support the operational management of VCCs, sub-funds and other investment vehicles.

  • Coordinate with fund administrators and professional advisers on fund-level operational and governance requirements.

  • Assist with documentation and processes relating to subscriptions, redemptions, distributions and other fund activities.

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate effectively across investment, operations, finance and compliance functions.

  • Manage day-to-day interactions with investors and external service providers.

  • Ensure timely and professional responses to investor and stakeholder requests.

  • Support senior management in managing key strategic relationships.

Team & Process Management

  • Work closely with junior team members and provide guidance on investor servicing and operational processes.

  • Help develop efficient processes for investor reporting, CRM, pipeline management and portfolio monitoring.

  • Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure timely execution.

  • Contribute to building institutional-quality investor relations and operational processes as the platform scales.

Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a:

    • Singapore licensed fund management company

    • Family office

    • Asset management firm

    • Private credit / private equity / venture debt platform or

    • Other regulated investment management business.

  • Good practical understanding of VCC structures and sub-funds.

  • Experience working with multiple investment portfolios, funds or investment vehicles.

  • Good understanding of fixed income, private credit, structured credit, venture debt or alternative investment products.

  • Prior exposure to fundraising and investor relationship management.

  • Experience dealing with family offices, HNWIs, institutional investors, wealth managers or other sophisticated investors.

  • Experience in fund / portfolio operations and investor reporting.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.

  • CFA or other relevant professional qualification preferred.

  • Experience in private credit, venture debt, direct lending or alternative fixed-income investments.

  • Existing exposure to Singapore fund administrators, auditors, banks, legal advisers and other fund service providers.

  • International investor exposure, particularly across Asia, Japan, Australia, India or the Middle East, would be an advantage.
