Job Description

List of major job responsibilities

  • Contribute as a business solution owner for applications within Private Equity and support wider Private Markets operating models and provide support as required
  • Collaborate across stakeholder groups to generate and document business requirements for development and business implementation
  • Define and implement business solutions through analysis of current state, requirements and gaps
  • Documenting, and maintaining requirements including system overviews, functional narratives and detailed Use Cases and Use Case Scenarios.
  • Working virtually and globally to deliver a consistent service to internal and external stakeholders irrespective of their location or time-zone.
  • Assist in the development of processes and standards that will be applied to the Global support team or other functions that leverage Private Equity and Real Estate applications or tools.
  • Understanding of application systems development throughout the full product lifecycle, working with all stakeholders to ensure on-time deliverables and help manage end user expectations.
  • Create and maintain effective communication within Product team and across the involved business lines.
  • Stay current with new technologies, tools or applications and acquire new skills required to cater to changing demands.
  • Creation and maintenance of supporting product documentation

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of work experience in gathering and documenting requirements
  • Experience working in the alternative investment fund services with an understanding of Private Equity or Hedge fund structures, accounting, processes, and life cycles.
  • Experience working with Hedge Fund or Private Equity systems like Investran or Geneva is preferred.
  • Demonstrates expertise in extracting business requirements using standard methodologies, and procedures.
  • Capable of supporting requirements and testing for business/application requests.
  • Capable of modeling business processes to support product operational usage. Can produce artifacts such as process models, use cases, procedural guides and scenarios.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and Word.
