As the Senior Associate, Cybersecurity Talent Development, you will play a crucial role in the execution and coordination of our talent development programs. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of initiatives aimed at fostering the growth of our cybersecurity professionals. Your focus will be on implementing and monitoring the frameworks that support career progression and continuous learning, with a particular emphasis on our emerging cybersecurity leaders. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for talent development and a keen interest in the cybersecurity field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Coordination and Support
Assist in the roll-out and administration of the comprehensive talent mobility and learning and development frameworks.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for cybersecurity staff, answering inquiries and providing guidance on available development resources and career pathways.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs, including scheduling, participant communication, and materials preparation.
- Data Management and Reporting
Maintain and update systems for tracking employee competencies, certifications, and progress in development programs.
- Collect and compile data for program analysis, assisting the Senior Manager in the creation of reports and presentations for leadership.
- Help to prepare data visualizations using tools like Tableau and Excel to illustrate program engagement and outcomes.
- Content and Communications
Assist in the development and curation of learning materials and resources for our cybersecurity professionals.
- Draft communications to promote engagement in our talent development initiatives, ensuring that employees are aware of available opportunities.
- Gather feedback from program participants to help identify areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement
Support the Senior Manager in engaging with stakeholders by preparing materials for meetings and presentations.
- Collaborate with HR and cybersecurity teams to ensure smooth program implementation.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a talent development, learning and development, or HR coordination role.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
- An interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to learn about the field is highly desirable.
