What The Role Is
You will join AGDs Financial Operations and Systems Directorate which spearheads and implements projects related to the Government financial system. You will get to shape the future of the procure-to-pay processes within Government and gain a strategic overview of Governments financial and procurement operations and its interdependencies with adjacent key processes and systems, You will also gain an appreciation of the interaction between operations and technology, and exercise judgement in managing trade-offs to achieve an effective system design to support users needs.
Responsibilities
What you will be working on
- Participate in the redesigning of procure-to-pay workflow, which has large scale impact on different systems across many agencies.
- Be involved in the ideation and subsequent implementation of the new processes in the system.
- Work with different stakeholders to determine and implement the to-be state of the new processes to affected systems.
Requirements
What we are looking for
Functional/Technical Competencies
- Tertiary Education in Accounting or Finance, Business, Finance, IT, Systems or related disciplines
- Knowledge in financial and/or procurement software is a plus
- CA Singapore certification is a plus

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability
- Self-driven and highly motivated team player with strong communication, stakeholder management, writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Meticulous with keen eye for detail
