Senior / Assistant Manager, Standards & Policies (Internal Assessor / 2-year contract)

You will be responsible for conducting systematic evaluation of healthcare delivery processes, patient safety standards, and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality of patient care services and adherence to healthcare standards. You will also be responsible for planning and executing internal assessments under the Ensure Safer Systems (ESS) program and conducting compliance assessments for Healthcare Services Act (HCSA) across all services.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement comprehensive assessments focusing on patient-centred and Plan and implement comprehensive assessments focusing on patient-centred and health care organisation management standards for ESS program; other priority areas identified based on the frequently reported Serious Reportable Events (SRE) and widespread and high-risk areas from internal assessments
• Conduct internal assessments before external audits. Follow-up findings and ensure the findings are timely closed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives that advance patient safety, service quality and operational excellence
• Prepare reports to Management, SingHealth and other required agencies.
• To continuously acquire necessary skill knowledge

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of clinical experience, with some experience in quality improvement or audit role
• Understanding of healthcare accreditation standards, and patient safety framework
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools
• Excellent in report writing and presentation of audit findings
• Good analytical skills with ability to interpret clinical data and trends
