Senior / Assistant Manager, Horticulture (AH Housekeeping)

To plan, implement, and maintain horticultural works, ensuring landscape contractors adopt best practices to promote healthy plant growth, optimal landscape aesthetics, and compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

. Develop and implement horticultural maintenance programmes for assigned sites.

. Conduct plant health assessments, diagnose diseases, pests, or deficiencies, and recommend appropriate treatments.

. Manage and oversee landscape maintenance teams and contractors in daily operations.

. Select suitable plant species for specific sites based on soil, climate, and design requirements.

. Prepare horticultural reports, maintenance schedules, and inventory records.

. Liaise with landscape contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities on horticultural matters.

. Ensure compliance with NParks regulations and relevant local codes.

. Monitor and maintain irrigation systems and soil conditions to support plant health.

. Ensure landscape contractor adopts horticultural best practices when required.

. Support landscaping improvement projects and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

• Recognised Degree, preferably in contract management in Healthcare / Hotel Setting / Horticulture, Certified Practicing Horticulturist (CPH), or related field
• Good team player
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good writing and communication skills
• Analytical, meticulous and high level of initiative
• Record of good leadership and project management
