You will be taking a lead / senior role to provide application support to various applications for a financial institution
Responsibilities
- Provide level 2 application support
- Carrying out root cause analysis
- Ensuring application services are running
- Monitoring servers and application health
- Managing Incidents and issues related to applications under remit
- Involved in leading the team to perform root cause analysis
- Carrying out automation of processes
- Ensuring timely resolution especially for high severity incidents to business users
- Provide management reporting
Requirements
- Min 10 years of experience with min 7 years in application support role
- proven experience in supporting mission critical application
- Experience in banking industry is preferred
- Comes from strong technical background, able to perform troubleshooting if required
- Prior experience in automation using windows (scripting)
- Experience in troubleshooting windows systems issues
- Experience in vbscript is a plus
- Good experience in incident and problem management
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
