SENIOR APPLICATION CONSULTANT

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Consultant specialising in Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement to lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of enterprise procurement solutions. The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders, procurement teams, finance teams, and technical delivery teams to deliver scalable Oracle Cloud solutions that improve sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and procure-to-pay operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

Lead end-to-end Oracle Procurement Cloud implementations, including discovery, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Serve as the functional subject-matter expert for Oracle Procurement Cloud modules, including:

• Self Service Procurement
• Purchasing
• Supplier Management
• Sourcing
• Procurement Contracts
• Supplier Portal
• Procurement Spend Analytics / reporting

Analyse current procurement processes and recommend best-practice Oracle Cloud solutions to improve efficiency, controls, compliance, and user experience.

Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and document functional requirements, business process flows, fit-gap analysis, and solution design documents.

Configure Oracle Procurement Cloud functionality, including approval workflows, procurement business units, document styles, purchasing categories, supplier qualification, sourcing events, and purchasing controls.

Design and support integrations between Oracle Procurement Cloud and related systems, including Oracle Financials Cloud, Inventory, Projects, HR, suppliers, and third-party applications.

Work closely with technical consultants on interface specifications, data conversions, reports, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and extensions.

Lead data migration activities for suppliers, items, purchasing documents, contracts, open purchase orders, and other procurement master data.

Develop test strategies, test scripts, and support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and defect resolution.

Support Oracle quarterly release impact assessments, regression testing, and adoption of new features.

Provide functional support and guidance to users after go-live, including issue triage, root-cause analysis, process improvements, and user training.

Mentor junior consultants and contribute to delivery standards, reusable solution assets, and Oracle Procurement Cloud best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 15-20 years of ERP consulting experience, with substantial hands-on experience in Oracle Procurement Cloud.
• Strong functional knowledge of procure-to-pay processes, sourcing, supplier lifecycle management, procurement contracts, and purchasing controls.
• Experience integrating Oracle Procurement Cloud with Oracle Financials Cloud, Inventory, Projects, and external applications.
• Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP web services, FBDI, ADFdi, BI Publisher, OTBI, and Oracle Cloud reporting tools.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration, testing, data migration, and production support.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical Oracle Cloud solution designs.
• Excellent stakeholder-management, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with multi-country, multi-business-unit, or global procurement transformation programmes.
• Willingness to travel for client workshops, project delivery, go-live support, and other business requirements.
