Job Title: Senior Application Consultant

Design, implement, test, and deploy end-to-end software solutions in the Technology & Operations - MOT - LCS domain, ensuring performance, stability, and compliance. This role requires strong technical expertise in Big Data technologies, ETL pipelines, and CI/CD automation, combined with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

. Solution Delivery: Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications and data pipelines using Hadoop, Hive, PySpark, and related technologies.

. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

. Debugging & Support: Troubleshoot application issues, fix bugs, and provide Level 3 support for production systems.

. Build & Release Automation: Package and release software artifacts using CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus) across all environments, including production.

. Performance & Security: Ensure application reliability, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.

. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement design and process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.

. Collaboration: Work closely with development leads, test engineers, infrastructure teams, and business users in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

. 8 years or above of relevant experience

. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Technical Expertise:

. Hands-on experience with Big Data stack: Hadoop, Hive, PySpark.

. Strong knowledge of ETL pipelines, data reconciliation, and quality assurance techniques.

. Proficiency in source code control systems and branching strategies (Git/Bitbucket).

. Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence.

. Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle/MySQL) and data modeling concepts.

. Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and API design.

. Experience working in Agile teams and applying Scrum practices.

. Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).

. Ability to adapt to challenges and remain calm in dynamic environments
