Senior Analyst, Reporting and Systems

We are seeking a driven, hands-on professional who can translate ideas into practical, scalable solutions. Working across Finance and Technology, you will help teams rethink end-to-end processes, implement technology-enabled changes and build efficient, connected workflows and systems.

The ideal candidate combines foundational accounting and finance knowledge with practical skills in script writing and systems integration. What matters is that you are passionate about designing efficient processes, integrating systems and building reliable automation solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support finance and operational automation initiatives across the full delivery lifecycle, from solution design and testing to deployment.
• Apply AI tools responsibly and creatively to improve productivity, accelerate analysis and generate actionable insights.
• Map current (as-is) and future (to-be) processes using flowcharts and clear process documentation.
• Design and implement low-code/no-code and workflow automation solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable scripts to automate data extraction, transformation and reconciliation tasks.
• Build and maintain API, MCP and webhook integrations between systems and databases to enable reliable, real-time data flows.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and optimise existing workflows, scripts and tools.
• Develop and maintain training materials, user guides and support resources that enable confident adoption of new tools and processes.
• Plan and execute platform integration testing to validate data accuracy, process continuity and system reliability.
• Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into established finance processes, systems and controls.
• Stay current with finance transformation, automation and AI trends, and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Requirements:

• Understanding of core accounting and finance processes.
• Foundational coding or scripting skills in Python, JavaScript or similar language with practical problem-solving and solution design capabilities.
• Proficiency in process mapping, workflow design and business process re-engineering concepts.
• Curiosity and creativity in applying AI and digital tools to practical business challenges.
• Ability to explain ideas clearly, facilitate discussions and gather requirements from stakeholders across diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organised and adapt to changing needs or timelines. Strong attention to detail, with clear documentation skills.
• Growth mindset and a self-starter, with initiative and willingness to experiment, independently research and evaluate solutions.
