Senior Analyst, IT

General Summary:

The Sr Analyst, SAP, is responsible for supporting the Avient business through SAP support and systems development activities. This position delivers value to the Avient businesses through IT applications design, configuration, and support while improving business process efficiency, and commercial and operational excellence. Leads implementation and upgrade projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• .Owns and drives application design and implementation.

• .Drives the technical validation of business process designs.

• .Implements solutions to support processes including Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse Management, Transportation, Production Planning, Human Resources, Business Reporting and Pricing.

• .Identifies, researches and recommends new applications as needed.

• .Delivers an integrated, quality technology platform.

• .Documents the configuration, design and implementation elements allowing easy support and knowledge transfer.

• .Leads projects and/or project sub-teams by working with key business people to define objectives, develop and execute project plans, manage issue resolution, coordinate work across project members and teams.

• .Delivers results on time and on budget.

• .Supports business processes by solving problems including transactions that are not flowing correctly and resolving system coding or configuration bugs.

• .Uses each support call as an opportunity to train the user on how to more effectively use SAP and other commercial, reporting, manufacturing or web applications.

• .Drives activities within assigned project tasks to meet project timelines, budget and quality.

• .Special projects as assigned.
