This involves evaluating complex financial data, collaborating with key stakeholders, and influencing investment decision-making. Additionally, the role is responsible for producing accurate and timely management information, including complex financial performance analysis and translating data into decision-relevant insights to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Your New Role
- Contribute to the development of competitor analysis reporting and ensure alignment with senior management requirements.
- Assist in producing timely, accurate, and insightful performance reports for senior management and business partners.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation.
- Develop standardised management reports for performance analysis against key profit drivers.
- Prepare and maintain budgeting and forecasting tools for assigned business lines.
- Analyse business results to identify future needs and implement process enhancements for increased efficiencies.
- Provide financial data analysis and best practice solutions to support decision-making.
- Liaise with divisional teams to ensure timely and consistent data provision.
- Assist in the ongoing development of the management information system.
- Demonstrate cultural expectations and influence others to promote a positive work environment.
About You
- Significant experience in an accounting/planning and analysis role, with preference for MI system implementation.
- Exposure to insurance business and regional roles.
- Experience in the insurance industry, with exposure to AIFRS being advantageous.
- Preference for work experience in consulting and/or financial planning and analysis, as well as in a shared service environment.
- Professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) within a finance role, with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proven experience of consistent and constructive people management capabilities.
Qualifications:
Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Certificates as an accountant.
