Senior AI/ML Engineer (Banking Industry)

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand use cases and define AI solutions.

• Build and deploy ML models into production following MLOps best practices (model versioning, monitoring, CI/CD).

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for scalable and maintainable AI solutions.

• Support data exploration, feature engineering, and model building as needed.

• Automate model retraining, testing, and performance monitoring.

• Ensure all AI models adhere to organizational policies, responsible AI practices, and audit requirements.

• Document ML workflows, governance checkpoints, and risk assessments.

• Partner with CloudOps, DevOps, IT, and security teams to integrate AI solutions into enterprise platforms.

• Analyze and optimize AI/ML solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Mentor and guide team members in AI engineering best practices and technical decision-making

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in AI, ML, data science, or related field with proven experience designing and developing ML models.

• 8+ years of experience in software development, data science, and ML, with at least 3+ years in AI engineering roles.

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (Langchain, LangGraph, vLLM, LMDeploy).

• Proven experience in the end-to-end ML lifecycle: data wrangling, model development, deployment, and monitoring.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases experience with graph databases is a plus.

• Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Airflow, or Kubeflow.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) for AI solution deployment.

• Strong understanding of AI governance, model risk management, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
