Job Summary
You will lead the preparation and consolidation of accurate financial reports and statements for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support audits, reconciliations, and cross-functional financial operations that drive transparency and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Reports and Financial Statements to support informed decision-making
- Perform Group Consolidation for multiple entities, ensuring precise elimination entries and comprehensive reporting
- Execute detailed cost allocation and classification across entities, departments, and projects to enable accurate cost tracking and profitability analysis
- Manage full sets of accounts for assigned entities by posting journal entries accurately and timely using accounting software
- Coordinate with the settlement team to compute, verify, and post realized and unrealized forex gains and losses
- Conduct periodic bank reconciliations to maintain accurate internal cash book records and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Oversee daily banking operations by preparing payment requests and managing online banking arrangements in compliance with internal controls
- Perform complex inter-company and related party reconciliations to ensure all balances and transactions are accurately recorded across the group
- Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors by preparing audit schedules, providing supporting documentation, and resolving audit queries efficiently
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including settlement teams, legal counsel, corporate secretaries, tax agents, and auditors to ensure smooth financial operations
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all statutory filings such as Annual Returns, Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI), Corporate Tax Computations, and XBRL reporting in compliance with SFRS and local regulations
- Provide secondary support for high-volume daily reconciliations including T+1 matching between trading platforms (MT4/MT5), payment gateways, and bank statements as needed
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks and special projects assigned by the Finance Manager to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficient knowledge and application of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Xero Accounting Software
- Proficient in English and Chinese (Written and Spoken) to coordinate with overseas agents and internal Chinese-speaking teams
- Ability to meet strict deadlines for financial reporting and statutory filings
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in a Corporate Secretarial Firm, Client Accounting Services, or Audit Firm
