Join our dynamic team as a Senior Accounts Executive, where you will play a vital role in ensuring precise financial closing, efficient inventory management, and comprehensive support for billing processes. Responsibilities
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and adjustments. Monitor intercompany invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies. Generate management reports and maintain supporting schedules for audits. Conduct cash flow forecasting and optimize cash flow processes. Analyze manufacturing variances and assist with inventory reconciliation and physical stock counts. Provide support for budget and forecast preparation. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather documentation for billing and intercompany transactions. Assist in financial audits by preparing necessary schedules and addressing audit inquiries. Drive process improvements and enhancements in ERP systems and reporting efficiency.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA). Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, including month-end and year-end closing, cost and inventory accounting, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial closing processes, audit support, and revenue recognition principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. A proactive and hands-on approach, coupled with a continuous improvement mindset.
