Job Description

Responsibilities:

Handle the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and month-end closing.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, cash flow reports, budgets and other financial reports for the Director's review.
Prepare and submit Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns and ensure compliance with IRAS requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks and other relevant parties on accounting, audit and tax matters.
Coordinate and prepare schedules, supporting documents and reconciliations for annual statutory audits.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting and statutory submissions.
Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable and outstanding balances.
Review accounting transactions, bank reconciliations and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in budgeting, financial planning and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.
Maintain proper accounting records, documentation and internal controls.
Perform other ad hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned by the Director.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Degree in Finance / Accounting or ACCA or equivalent
Experience in handling external audit experience
Independent & motivated with strong leadership skills
Able to multi-task and work under tight datelines
Meticulous, proactive, resourceful and self-driven with positive mindset
Competent in MS Office especially Excel
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently as well as in a team
