Job Summary
Manage the full set of accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance within hotel operations. Drive timely month-end closings, maintain reconciliations, and support payroll processes to contribute to operational efficiency and financial integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts to ensure comprehensive financial record-keeping and reporting
- Maintain accurate posting and reconciliation of revenue and bank transactions to uphold financial accuracy
- Prepare and analyze Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ageing reports to support cash flow management
- Execute timely and accurate month-end closing activities to meet reporting deadlines
- Assist in processing staff payroll to ensure accurate and compliant compensation management
- Prepare monthly journal entries to record financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards
- Generate financial reports tailored to hotel operations to inform management decision-making
- Utilize Excel to analyze financial data and streamline accounting processes
- Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned to support business needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Ability to converse in Mandarin to facilitate communication within the team and with stakeholders
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, LCCI, or equivalent qualification to ensure foundational accounting knowledge
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar accounting role within the hospitality industry to enhance operational understanding
- Basic accounting knowledge to support core accounting functions
- Proficiency in MS Office to improve productivity and reporting accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently
