Job Summary:
The Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for supporting the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with statutory and internal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other manual entries, in accordance with SFRS and contractual terms.
- Review, prepare, and maintain fixed asset registers and key balance sheet schedules.
- Identify, analyse, and resolve accounting and operational issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare sales and financial reports for management and key stakeholders.
- Compile and maintain key schedules for statutory filings, audits, and tax computations.
- Support audit activities and other related functions, including stock-taking and voucher management.
- Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecast exercises.
- Perform bank statement reviews and reconciliations.
- Calculate commissions and ensure accurate recording.
- Undertake other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, with a recognised Diploma, ACCA qualification, or Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Open to job rotation and cross-functional exposure.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems exposure to the F&B industry will be an added advantage.
