Senior Accounts Executive

Culina is a leading purveyor of specialist epicurean foods and wines, a choice distributor to hotels, restaurants and cafes in Singapore. Culina runs a Bistro and Gourmet boutique, an Organic retail store SuperNature in Dempsey as well as a chain of butcheries in major supermarkets island wide.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and perform electronic filing of invoices.

• Process customer and vendor invoices, payments, and related documentation.

• Review and interpret key trading terms in contracts.

• Reconcile customer receipts to ensure accuracy.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices with customers.

• Prepare and issue invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.

• Calculate and verify sales commissions.

• Analyse and prepare journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other balance sheet items.

• Manage, report, and resolve billing disputes or discrepancies.

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Compile and prepare sales reports and other relevant financial reports.

• Generate routine reports on key expenses and stakeholder transactions.

• Participate in departmental and company-wide activities such as stock-taking and archiving.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, ACCA qualification or related fields

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in wholesale or F&B

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems
