The Role
The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for supporting the company's accounting operations through accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and adherence to regulatory requirements. This role prepares financial reports and schedules to support audits, tax filings, and management reporting.
- Manage daily accounting operations, including full accounts receivable (AR) and general ledger (GL) functions.
- Perform double-entry accounting.
- Support routine financial activities, including bookkeeping, and accounts receivable (AR), and assisting with month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules.
- Support tax filings, audit exercises, and statutory submissions.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and reporting packs.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Possess 3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Capable of performing double-entry accounting within a more manual AR process.
- Familiarity with MS Dynamics is a strong advantage.
