Senior Accountant
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team and provide direct support to the CFO. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with international and local standards, and strengthening financial processes. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly accounts, reconciliations, and financial statements with precision
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and SFRS, maintaining robust internal controls
- Manage statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions with external partners
- Oversee cashflow, treasury, and working capital to safeguard financial health
- Lead project accounting activities, tracking costs, revenues, and profitability by project
- Drive ERP improvements, streamline finance processes, and mentor junior staff
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting with CA/CPA/ACCA certification
- At least 8 -10 years of accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 or mid-tier exposure
- Proven expertise in project accounting and experience in trading company environments
- Hands-on with inventory systems, ERP platforms
- Detail Minded with strong communication skills
