How you can make your mark

The Senior Accountant will be working with the Singapore office and with a team consisting of around 23 people from different backgrounds. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the financial administration and reporting of one or more entities within the Boskalis Group.

As an employee, you contribute to maintaining our organization's quality, safety, and environmental management system as part of a continuous improvement process. In doing so, within your range of duties, you assume responsibility for adhering to all measures implemented by the company regarding quality, safety, and the environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

To include, but not limited to:

• Maintain full set of accounts (AR, AP & GL).
• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc financial/management reports.
• Prepare periodic reporting packages to Head Office and external parties.
• Prepare forecast and annual budget.
• Liaise with tax agent for the preparation and submission of tax return.
• Lead audit process and liaise with auditors.
• Preparation of annual financial statements.
• Ad-hoc assignments and projects when required.

Requirements

Education/Certificates:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree / Professional Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience.
• Good knowledge in Singapore FRS, taxation and GST.

Other Requirements:

• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to perform under work pressure and deadlines.
• Intrinsically motivated and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Results and action-oriented, tenacity, resilience, and compassion.
