Job Description

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be the overall accountable for REC Americas GL function and AP function:

AP

  • Record all the vendor invoices into SAP via Readsoft
  • Prepare and arrange weekly vendors payments which ensuring bank signatories approved the payments.
  • Prepare new vendor registration form for IT to create new vendor master data in SAP
  • Record all the staff claim transactions provide by US team

GL

  • Prepare GL journals which included amortization of prepayment, operating cost accruals, if required.
  • Prepare tariff related journal with supporting provided by US team
  • Capitalised new fixed assets and perform monthly depreciation run in SAP.
  • Perform month end forex revaluation in SAP
  • Perform and record tax related transactions and tax schedule/reconciliation.
  • Upload finalised Trial Balance into HFM for consolidation purpose, included monthly, quarterly and annually required disclosure notes.

Prepare and present monthly management report, direct cashflow report, monthly balance schedules, handle quarterly and annual audit queries.

Preparing both US Holdings INC & REC Americas LLC annual audited finance reports.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional certifications (CPA/ACCA/CA) advantageous.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of handson accounting experience, including AP, GL, audit support, and monthend close activities.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and ability to prepare management reports, cashflow reports, and audit deliverables
  • Experience with SAP FI/AA, ReadSoft, and HFM
  • Strong Excel skills (reconciliations, validations, analysis).
  • Comfortable working in systemdriven, automated AP/GL workflows
  • Good understanding of endtoend AP and GL processes, including depreciation, FX revaluation, capitalization, and trial balance management.
  • Experience preparing US statutory or audited financial statements preferred.
  • Ability to manage full monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles independently.
