About the Role:
Based in our Headquarters in Singapore, this role is responsible for Group-level financial reporting, and consolidation for 16 factories spread across 18 locations across SEA and China.
Responsibilities
Group Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly group consolidation, draft financial statements, review and analyse subsidiaries and perform audit to ensure statutory and policy compliance across all legal entities.
- Prepare consolidated performance analysis for the Group.
- Work closely with country finance to achieve group financial and operational objectives including providing guidance, troubleshooting issues, organising the closing, budget and forecast cycles of each legal entity.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Support any financial improvement projects such as ERP enhancement.
- Evaluate and lead the rolling out of new/revised accounting standards throughout the Group.
- Support in implementing improved reporting procedures and measurement mechanism.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in both finance and audit roles, with at least 3 years of experience in consolidation preparation.
- Hands-on experience with effective stakeholder communication with regional operations in a manufacturing industry
- A strong proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin is a requirement for our China operations, while English remains the main language of our business across Southeast Asia.
- Note: Candidates with only audit experience will not be considered as the role requires strong experience in both finance and audit.
Qualifications
- A degree or professional qualification in Accountancy
- Chartered accountant or CPA will be advantageous
