Manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Oversee the daily operations of the Accounting and Finance department to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
Review and analyse financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior-year results, and highlight key variances.
Coordinate the annual budgeting exercise and rolling forecast processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Monitor and manage cash flow to support operational and business requirements.
Oversee statutory and regulatory matters, including GST submissions, withholding tax, corporate tax returns, statutory audits, and transfer pricing documentation.
Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, IRAS regulations, and internal group policies.
Provide financial analysis and insights to management to support informed business and strategic decisions.
Review and strengthen internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.
Support internal audits conducted by the J-SOX team and assist in related compliance initiatives.
Liaise with external parties including tax agents, auditors, corporate secretaries, and banking partners.
Guide and support junior finance team members, contributing to their professional development.
Participate in initiatives to improve business processes, financial systems, and operational efficiency.
Stay informed of relevant updates in financial regulations and accounting practices.
Perform other duties or projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
Degree in Accountancy or a related discipline, and/or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance functions.
Good understanding of Singapore statutory reporting and taxation requirements.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and financial reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working with ERP systems familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be an advantage.
Exposure to J-SOX compliance or internal control frameworks preferred
