Purpose
The purpose of the position is to manage financial records and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirement for Fresenius Kabi (Singapore) Pte Ltd. To handle monthly preparation of management and accounting reports in full respect of the corporate compliance guidelines. Ensures that the company's policies and standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to in order to meet the requirements of the internal audit procedures. Supervises the day to day routine operational work (eg data entries, reporting) and functions of the Accounts Executive(s)/Assistant(s)/Shared Service Center to ensure orderly & prompt bookkeeping and transactions are booked in accordance to approved accounting standards. The incumbent is also required to support other internal customers in the provision of services on accounting matters, as well as external customers, such as auditors, tax agents, secretaries and customers.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Manage full spectrum of financial and accounting functions.
- Including accounting, tax, audit, management reporting and attend to all sorts of ad-hoc matters for Fresenius Kabi (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Responsible to monitor the progress of work and ensure tasks completed orderly.
- To ensure all accounting transactions are accurately and promptly posted into the system in accordance to the internal deadlines and are strictly adhered to the policies & SOPs which includes all reviewing of AP/AR accounting functions, Inter-company transactions, maintenance of fixed asset register, lease schedules, Balance Sheet Schedules, prepare and review general ledger entries, review Receipts/Payment, Reconciliations etc.
- Responsible for timely and accurate completion of financial reporting for both internal and external purposes. Prepare of financial management reports that need to be submitted to Regional & Corporate Office monthly and quarterly within the stipulated due dates.
- Manage APAC re-invoicing centre operations. Liaise with export market in-charge and shared service center to review and manage re-invoicing related transaction (eg. Review intercompany reconciliation, AR/AP balance, hedging of fund, profit split, etc)
- Key person in liaising with auditors, company secretarial, tax agents and bankers Review reconciliation for credit card, ensure supporting documents are in place.
- Involves in project intiatives, system implementation/ improvement/ transformation and review of SOP effectiveness and internal controls. Lead initiates to streamline and automate financial workflows and systems.
- Balance Sheet Schedules - Assist in the monthly analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet items including bank accounts to determine the accuracy of the accounts and to trace and rectify the source of errors.
- Cashflow forecast - Prepare and review 12 months rolling cashflow requirements for Fresenius Kabi (Singapore) Pte Ltd
- Audit and Tax - Prepare audit, tax & transfer pricing schedules as requested from time to time by the external auditors and tax agents. Work closely with tax agents and auditors to ensure all audit and tax deadlines are met. Prepares tax forecast. Also assist in the preparation of the legal reporting package.
- Statutory requirement - Liaise with corporate secretary on AGM, board resolution, filing of ACRA, etc. Ensure timing submission of reporting required by SINGSTAT, GST, WHT reporting, etc
- Management reporting - Prepares other reports as may be requested from time to time or on adhoc basis whenever required by regional and corporate office.
- Other Job Functions - Performs other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a multinational company
- Proficiency in SAP, SAC and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent, meticulous, analytical and self-motivated
