Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager

About the role

We are a growing Singapore group in building construction, flooring and specialist finishes. We're looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager to own our accounts and give management a clear picture of cash, budgets and project profitability. You will report directly to the Director.

Key responsibilities

• Full-set accounts for all group entities
• Month-end closing, management accounts and a monthly financial health report
• Project P&L and cashflow for the monthly WIP review
• Quarterly GST filing support year-end audit and tax
• Monthly payroll, attendance, CPF and e-claims
• Client invoicing, progress claims and collections
• Verify and post AP, prepare payments and bank reconciliations
• Insurance renewals and grant tracking

About you

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of hands-on full-set accounting, including month-end closing and GST
• Singapore payroll and CPF experience
• Comfortable working independently in an SME
• Construction or contractor accounting experience is an advantage
