1. Financial & Management Reporting
- Manage and maintain full sets of accounts, including account payables, account receivables, general ledgers and intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and reporting
- Prepare monthly Group consolidated financial statements and reporting packages in accordance with SFRS/IFRS.
- Work closely and provide guidance to operational and regional teams to ensure compliance with finance policies and procedures
- Provide analysis and commentaries of financial performance for the company and group consolidated financial stamanagement accounts for corporate and regional subsidiaries.
- Ensure timely and accurate company and group financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with the auditors to ensure timely completion of audit and preparation of company and group audited financial statements
2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow Management
- Collaborate with department heads on annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow movements closely to meet operational needs and liaise with banks on treasury transactions
- Prepare cash flow projections and rolling financial forecasts.
3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns
- Liaise with external tax consultants to submit income tax returns and in compliance with local regulations
4. Systems Implementation & Improvement
- Implement financial system improvements, including ERP optimization, to enhance automation and data accuracy
- Ensure seamless accounting system operations and maintain data integrity across platforms
5. Other Responsibilities
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations, enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide guidance to Finance/Accounts Executives.
- Prepare relevant information requested by management for decision-making
- Support any other ad-hoc projects or duties that may be assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting / ACCA / CA / CPA qualification
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in managing full spectrum of accounting and finance functions. Prior hands-on group consolidation experience is advantageous.
- Prior audit experience, especially in Big4 accounting firm is a strong advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IFRS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possess strong business acumens and analytic skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
