Take ownership of full sets of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. Lead and execute month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing comprehensive financial reports for management and compliance. Oversee AP/AR functions and manage fixed assets
Assist in monitoring cash flow and liquidity, contributing to working capital management to optimize financial health
Participate in and support the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST returns. Assist with corporate tax computations and Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) filings, ensuring full compliance with local regulations
Provide analytical support related to sales commission structures and help ensure their accurate calculation and financial reconciliation
Support the development and maintenance of strong internal controls and financial policies. Identify and champion process improvements to enhance efficiency within accounting operations
Act as a key point of contact for internal and external audits, preparing audit schedules and liaising with auditors, tax agents, and other external partners
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Review work performed by team members, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards
Participate in and lead ad-hoc finance projects aimed at driving operational excellence and supporting business growth.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory
Familiarity with Singapore's accounting and tax regulations, including GST, Corporate Tax, and ECI
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including financial modelling)
Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and supporting commission structure related financial analysis
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
A proactive and hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience in the F&B, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors is an advantage.
