Lighthouse Executives has been exclusively engaged by a US-listed multinational organisation to strengthen its Singapore finance team through the appointment of a Senior Accountant and Accountant.

Operating across international markets, the organisation provides engineered solutions to customers across complex industrial and project-based environments. Singapore forms an important part of its regional operations, providing both positions with exposure to a global finance environment, US GAAP reporting standards and established corporate governance frameworks.

This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals seeking to build their careers within a international organisation, while maintaining hands-on ownership across accounting, project revenue recognition and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closing activities
• Perform hands-on Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting and project revenue recognition - must have
• Prepare general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Analyse account movements and financial variances
• Ensure accounting activities comply with US GAAP and internal policies
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Support SOX controls, testing and documentation
• Support Singapore statutory financial reporting
• Participate in finance transformation, process improvement and special projects

The mandate specifically covers POC revenue recognition alongside financial close, GL accounting, reconciliations, US GAAP, audit and SOX responsibilities.

Ideal Profile

We are particularly interested in accounting professionals from EPC, engineering, industrial, infrastructure, construction or other project-driven environments.

Senior Accountant

• Approximately 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Strong hands-on accounting and financial reporting experience
• Big 4 external audit experience highly regarded

Accountant

• Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on commercial accounting exposure
• Big 4 external audit experience highly regarded

For both appointments:

• Hands-on Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting experience is mandatory
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
• SOX exposure advantageous
• CA, CPA or ACCA qualification advantageous
• ERP systems experience and strong Excel capabilities
• Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced multinational environment
