Senior Accountant / Accountant
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant/Accountant's role in a private equity fund management set up encompasses the following:
- accounting, reporting, internal control, administration and compliance functions for the funds and related investment portfolios that the fund manages. The Employee shall undertake specific projects, for instance, related to portfolio companies that may be assigned from time to time.
- manage treasury function and monitoring risk/return KPIs of various asset portfolios.
- supporting the FM/CEO in communications with stakeholders and government agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance or a related field
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA or CPA
- Strong accounting knowledge & familiarity with Singapore/International financial reporting standards, knowledge in Fund Accounting is an added advantage
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with at least 2 years of external audit experience with the Big 4
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and meticulous
- Written and spoken proficiencies in English and Mandarin
