Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our growing Account Management team. In this role, you will manage key client relationships and oversee the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, media, creative, and content.

This role requires a strong balance of project leadership, client management, and commercial awareness. As a Senior Strategic Account Manager, you will work closely with internal specialists and client stakeholders to contribute to account growth, mentor junior team members, and ensure high-quality, on-time campaign delivery, while supporting the Account Director in client strategy and commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Advisory Support

  • Act as a trusted day-to-day advisor to clients across local and regional accounts.
  • Lead client communications and presentations, guiding discussions on strategy, performance, budgets, and delivery timelines.
  • Set and manage client expectations to ensure satisfaction, trust, and long-term partnerships.

Integrated Campaign Planning & Project Delivery

  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital media, creative production, social, and web development.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery across all workstreams.
  • Maintain oversight of project timelines, scopes, and deliverables, ensuring campaigns meet agreed objectives and KPIs.
  • Ensure quality control for all deliverables.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Guide and mentor junior team members, supporting their development and performance.
  • Support internal teams with project management and problem-solving to overcome delivery challenges.

Account Growth & Business Support

  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling of agency services.
  • Support new business pitches and proposals, translating client needs into actionable recommendations.
  • Work with internal teams to develop compelling strategic narratives and presentations.

Digital Strategy & Insights

  • Contribute to the development of campaign strategies based on performance data, audience insights, and industry trends.
  • Stay informed of digital marketing trends, tools, and platforms to offer informed recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with specialists in media, creative, UX/UI, and analytics to optimise campaigns and deliver measurable results.

Experience & Attributes

  • 5-7 years of experience in a digital, media, or creative agency.
  • Strong track record in managing complex accounts and delivering integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of digital channels, media planning, social media, creative production, and web development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive problem solver with a positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.
