Job Description

Job Purpose

The Senior Account Executive (Singapore) is responsible for driving new business growth, managing existing accounts, and securing renewals across enterprise and government sectors. This role focuses on identifying and closing sales opportunities for cloud and professional services, building strong customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. The Senior Account Executive will play a key role in expanding GoPomelo's presence in the Malaysian market, contributing to revenue targets, and ensuring customer success through consultative selling and strategic engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work towards a sales target for new business, professional services, managed services, and renewals.
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities, addressing customer technical objections and collaborating with internal teams to resolve blockers.
  • Manage pipeline and sales activities, ensuring adherence to best practices in enterprise sales processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within enterprise and/or government accounts.
  • Collaborate with GoPomelo's Customer Engineering Team to support technical solution validation, including bid responses, solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and technical resource coordination.
  • Coordinate with technology partners to align solutions with customer needs and maximize engagement opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date pipeline communication using internal sales tools and best practices.
  • Engage in marketing and sales enablement activities, including events, industry groups, and digital marketing efforts.
  • Stay informed on GoPomelo's technology offerings, continuously developing expertise in partner cloud solutions.
  • Support post-sales engagement motions, including upgrades and ongoing customer engagement to drive long-term success.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in enterprise or government technology sales, preferably in cloud, hybrid, or on-premise solutions.
  • Strong ability to manage and grow large accounts, with a track record of closing complex deals.
  • Excellent relationship management and consultative selling skills.
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams to drive solution validation and customer success.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft, Google, AWS, and other public cloud products is a plus.
  • This role is suited for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, excels at solution-based selling, and is passionate about helping organizations transform through technology.
