About the role

2JK Semicon Pte Ltd (now rebranded to Koin Semi Pte Ltd), a leading semiconductor manufacturer, is seeking a talented Semiconductor Technician to join our team in the North Region. As a Semiconductor Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our state-of-the-art semiconductor production facilities. This full-time position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.

What you'll be doing

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor production equipment

• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and implement appropriate corrective actions to ensure optimal equipment performance

• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements

• Collect and analyse equipment data to identify trends and potential issues

• Participate in the installation and calibration of new equipment

• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment

• Monitor, analyze and address SPC issues for area process on a daily basis and respond to SPC out of control issues.

• Write up daily reports and carry out any other necessary tasks delegated by the supervising engineer.

• Support ad-hoc activities assigned from time to time.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience as a Semiconductor Technician or in a related role within the semiconductor industry

• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to safety and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
