- A hands-on, technically advanced role focused on troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing access control and security systems across multiple client environments.
- Acts as L1/L2 escalation point for complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions
- Diagnoses and resolves hardware, software, network, and system integration issues, including credentialing and access workflows
- Works with vendors for deep technical support, patches, and upgrades
- Requires expertise in platforms like LenelS2 OnGuard, HID/Mercury, Genetec, Suprema, ZKTeco, Axis, and Milestone VMS
- Responsible for preventive maintenance, system optimization, and lifecycle management
- Ensures proper documentation, system updates, and long-term reliability in mission-critical environments
Education:
- Diploma / Nitec in IT, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Technical certifications in CCTV and Access Control systems are highly recommended.
- Experience: 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience
Strong understanding of:
- Network connection
- SQL databases, Windows Server, virtualized environments
- Door hardware (maglocks, strikes, sensors, interlocks)
- Identity and access management principles
- Video Management Software
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose both software and hardware issues.
- Willingness to perform hands-on field work
- Able to perform standby or after-hours support upon fault call activated on rotation basis
- Class 3 license is a must.
