Security Officer

Job Summary

You will ensure safety and security by conducting routine patrols, responding to emergencies, managing disorderly conduct, monitoring CCTV, and controlling traffic and crowds at the site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols and clocking to maintain site safety and security
• Respond promptly to emergency incidents and accidents on site to minimize risk
• Manage disorderly conduct and threatening behavior to maintain order
• Observe, inspect, and report unusual behavior or safety/fire hazards to prevent incidents
• Manage driveways to ensure smooth flow of traffic and reduce congestion
• Monitor CCTV to detect and respond to security threats effectively
• Control crowds to maintain safety and prevent disturbances

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid security license registered with PLRD
• Completed WSQ Security modules in:
• Handle Security Incidents and Services
• Provide Guard and Patrol Services
• Recognise Terrorist Threat or equivalent
• Operate Basic Security Equipment
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a related security field
• Ability to communicate and write simple English for recording daily incidents
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Positive working attitude

• Location: Next to Havelock MRT Station (TE16)
• Gross Salary: $3,000 to $3,100 per month
• 12-hour rotating shifts
