Security Officer

The Security Officer monitors surveillance systems, car park operations, and fire alarms to prevent theft and damage. They conduct patrols, manage vehicle and crowd control, and implement SOPs, including first aid and emergency responses. Additional duties include handling security tasks for events, incident reporting, and performing other assigned responsibilities.

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems, car park operations, and fire alarms to safeguard against theft, fire, damage, and trespassing.

• Conduct and document routine patrols and surveillance as required, ensuring thorough coverage of all areas.

• Perform safety checks on the building and grounds, promptly reporting any hazards to the Supervisor for corrective action.

• Assist in controlling the movement of vehicles and managing the car park gantry system, as well as overseeing the safe and smooth flow of human crowds within the club.

• Implement SOPs related to the club's shuttle bus service and midnight transport provide basic first aid and use the AED during accidents or medical emergencies assist with building occupant management during power disruptions.

• Respond immediately to fire emergencies, perform duties as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT), and assist the Fire Safety Manager during evacuations.

• Ensure the successful implementation of security-related tasks for important events, such as car park lot reservations, receiving VIPs, and managing guest boarding or alighting from buses. Stay fully aware of all activities taking place at the club.

• Assist in incident reporting and investigations, ensuring that all documentation is thorough and accurate.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, or Senior Security Officer.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum O level with at least 2 years of relevant experience

• Applicants without prior security experience are welcome to apply

• Possess valid security license from PLRD

• AED certified preferred

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

• Positive work attitude with strong customer service-oriented mindset

• Able to perform rotating shifts including weekends and public holiday
