Job Summary
The Security Guard ensures the safety and security of the company's yard, vehicles, equipment, and personnel by monitoring access, patrolling premises, preventing unauthorized activities, and responding promptly to incidents. A valid PLRD license is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the yard and surrounding areas to detect and prevent theft, vandalism, or hazards
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems to identify security threats or breaches
- Control access by verifying the identity of employees, visitors, and vehicles entering the yard
- Respond immediately to security incidents, emergencies, or accidents to minimize risks and ensure safety
- Enforce compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements during all security operations
- Monitor storage areas for equipment, machinery, and vehicles to prevent loss or damage
Requirements:
- Valid PLRD license (mandatory).
- Minimum 1 year of security experience yard or industrial experience preferred.
- Secondary/High School education or equivalent.
- Physically fit, alert, and able to handle emergencies calmly.
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Additional certifications in First Aid, Fire Safety, or Workplace Safety are a plus.
