About the Role
As a Network Detection & Performance based Security Engineer focusing on next generation network detection and performance monitoring solutions. You'll work hands-on with leading-edge platforms like ExtraHop and cPacket to help enterprise customers gain full visibility into their networks and detect threats early.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage ExtraHop NDR/NPM solutions in enterprise environments
- Implement and operate cPacket packet capture and traffic analysis systems
- Analyze network traffic for anomalies, latency, packet loss, and security threats
- Tune detections, alerts, and dashboards to optimize network threat visibility
- Collaborate with SOC teams to improve detection fidelity and reduce false positives
- Participate in Proof of Concepts (PoCs), solution design, and customer workshops
- Provide Level 2/3 support for network detection solutions
Requirement
- 3 to 5 years of experience in network engineering, NPM, NDR, or security operations
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, TLS protocols
- Experience troubleshooting packet-level network issues
- Security experience is a plus but solid network skills are critical
- Good communication skills and customer-facing experience preferred
