We are looking for a Security Engineer who will be primarily responsible for the deployment and implementation of cybersecurity solutions, with occasional involvement in presales technical support such as proof-of-concept (POC) activities.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working directly with enterprise customers to deploy, integrate, and optimize security solutions - while also contributing to technical validation during the presales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience in deploying security solutions such as EDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR/TIP, Cloud Security (CNAPP/CSPM), Privileged Access Management, Database security and monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of network security, endpoint protection, identity & access management, data protection, or cloud security
- Strong knowledge of modern attack vectors, cybersecurity frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST), and security best practices.
- Support system hardening, policy configuration, and fine-tuning during implementation
- Assist in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practice deployment guides
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), knowledge transfer, and handover documentation
- Troubleshoot deployment or configuration issues and coordinate with vendor support where necessary
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity solution deployment or integration
- Experience working for a System Integrator, MSSP, or technology vendor
- Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Self-starter, capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a project team
- Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform) to streamline deployments
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their native security tools
