Responsibilities
- Oversee the function of a section and unit. Assist in implementing procedures aligned with quality standards and work specifications. Ensure cybersecurity compliance and conduct audits for the section. Update and collect necessary information for reporting in daily production meetings. Monitor work performance and motivate staff to meet Signal Performance Standards. Maintain, sustain, and improve safety and quality requirements. Analyze and review the performance of signaling and PSD systems. Assess manpower and material resource adequacy for the section. Review and identify training needs for staff. Conduct periodic supervision of staff work and endorse necessary reports. Prepare an annual budget estimate for the section. Manage spare control and IT security processes, ensuring audit compliance. Facilitate the establishment and management of maintenance contracts for signaling and PSD. Investigate non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions. Review work practices for continuous improvement. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Uphold workplace safety standards and responsibilities.
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant engineering field from a recognized institution. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field. Proven experience with signaling and PSD systems and equipment. Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with IT systems, including servers, networking, and IT security, is an advantage.
