Sea freight Customer Service Executive - JD1990

Job Info:

• Salary: Basic up to $3800 + AWS + VB
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Office Hours) Saturday (Half day)
• Location: Changi (Company transport pick up at designated points)

Job Scope:

• Respond promptly to customers enquiries
• Ensure full compliance with customers Standard Operating Procedures
• Liaise with overseas agents on requirements and rate negotiations
• Prepare shipping documentation for LCL and FCL shipments
• Coordinate with import and export operations teams to ensure documentation and invoicing accuracy
• Liaise and coordinate with carriers, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth shipment delivery
• Prepare sea freight quotations for ad-hoc COD customers
• Arrange packing and labelling for Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments
• Provide quotations upon request
• Responsible for monthly closing of shipment files
• Handle DG declarations as required

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding (airfreight / seafreight)
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
